Supervision and consultation hours with Julia or Jeremiah count toward your AASECT certification requirements. Individual and group supervision formats are both available.

What Therapists Ask Us

AASECT Certified Sex Therapists are licensed mental health professionals trained to provide in-depth psychotherapy, who have specialized in treating clients with sexual issues and concerns. Candidates are required to complete 50 hours of supervision (25 of which can be group), in addition to extensive coursework and case consultation. Sex therapists work with a wide range of sexual concerns — from simple to complex — and are prepared to provide comprehensive, longer-term psychotherapy where appropriate.

Yes. Jeremiah is an AASECT Certified Supervisor, and Julia is in the final stage of her training, which means hours with either of them count toward your AASECT supervision requirements. Individual and group supervision formats are both available — reach out during your consultation to discuss what format works best for where you are in the process.

Absolutely. Professional consultation is available to any licensed therapist who wants a thinking partner on complex cases — particularly those involving sex therapy, couples work, or religious trauma. You don't need to be on a certification path to benefit from consultation.
