INDIVIDUAL THERAPY IN RALEIGH, NC

For your relationship
with yourself.

Your relationship with yourself shapes every other relationship you have — including your sexual ones.

WHY YOU’RE HERE

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Maybe you're trying to understand your own desire, your identity, or what you actually want from intimacy. Maybe you've been through something that changed how you relate to your body or to other people. Maybe you're dating and the whole thing feels more complicated than it should.

At Let's Heal Together, our primary goal is to help you flourish as a sexual person. We work with people of all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures.

THERAPY FOCUS

Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity

Figuring out who you are — as a sexual person, in terms of gender identity, as someone whose desires and identity may not fit the shapes you were handed — is some of the most meaningful and most disorienting work a person can do.

Therapy can be a place to explore that without anyone else's timeline or expectations. We'll help you understand yourself more clearly, find language that actually fits, communicate who you are to the people in your life, and navigate the real-world challenges that can come with being queer, trans, or simply different from what was expected of you.

THERAPY FOCUS

Sexual Trauma

Experiencing sexual trauma is one of the deepest violations a person can survive. It can change how you feel in your body, how you relate to other people, and how safe intimacy feels — sometimes for a long time afterward.

The ways you've responded to what happened to you make sense. They are not signs that something is broken in you. They are signs that something was done to you.

At Let's Heal Together, we resist labeling these responses as a disorder. We walk with you at your pace, helping you reclaim your body, your story, and your sense of what's possible. People do heal from this. We've seen it. We'd be honored to be part of that process with you.

THERAPY FOCUS

Navigating Dating

If you are dating in the modern world, you already know: it's a real slog. The apps, the question of when to disclose what, the trying to figure out your own values while everyone else seems to already have theirs sorted. It's exhausting in a way that doesn't always get taken seriously.

Individual therapy can help you get clear on what you actually want, how to communicate it, and how to hold your own boundaries. You don't have to figure this out alone — and you don't have to pretend it's not as hard as it is.

THERAPY FOCUS

Already in Couples Therapy?

Already in Couples Therapy? Individual therapy can help too.

Sometimes the most important work in a relationship happens one-on-one.

If you're in couples therapy and finding that your own history (anxiety, trauma, questions about identity) is showing up in ways that need more space than a joint session allows, individual therapy can be a powerful complement.

At Let's Heal Together, we coordinate between your individual and couples work so that the two support each other. You don't have to choose.

WHAT’S POSSIBLE

A space that's entirely yours

Whatever you're navigating, individual therapy at Let's Heal Together gives you a space to understand yourself more clearly, to work through what's getting in the way, and to build a relationship with your own desires, identity, and body that actually feels like yours.

"Most of our individual clients come in feeling like they're behind, broken, or too complicated. They leave knowing they were neither."

What predicts success in healing

  • 1

Use the session to name what's not working and how you want things to be different.

  • 2

Create space outside of sessions to practice what you're working on.

  • 3

Notice what shifts and what still feels stuck — and bring it back.

  • 4

Use the next session to adjust — building on what's working, letting go of what isn't.

How we structure it

Goal-oriented, solution-focused

We'll start by naming short and long-term outcomes for your healing. Sessions are typically 50 or 80 minutes though a longer initial session sometimes makes sense.

At the end of each session, we'll offer ideas and experiments to try between sessions. The folks who make the most progress are the ones who bring back what they noticed.

As therapy evolves, we'll regularly talk about what's working — so we can do more of it.
